about the project
this project is a study of manifestations, a collection of subjective evidence regarding the concepts of: peace, redemption, reconciliation, mercy, charity, self-sacrifice, unconditional love, truth, atonement, faithfulness, healing, freedom, humility, salvation, revelation, and forgiveness. you are invited to share your experience of and response to these concepts, and to mail them in to be a part of this conversation. the prompts are intentionally vague to encourage you to respond in whatever way you desire - prose, poetry, narrative, music, rhetoric, art, photography, etc. there are no limitations or preferences regarding age, race, sex, class, nationality, religion, or otherwise. your perspective has value in that it is yours, so please feel free. submissions will be published on this site (click images below to enlarge) and also exhibited physically. information about exhibits will be posted here. submissions will be kept anonymous to emphasize the universality of these concepts. this project was started with the distribution of empty envelopes labeled with prompts, but if you don't have one, please feel free to send in your own, labeled with the concept to which you are responding. mail to: theo and sophia. p.o. box 7231. huntsville, tx 77342. e-mail contact: theoandsophia@gmail.com.
